In the summer of 2020, Monik relocated from Toronto. With well over a decade of experience as a certified makeup artist she possesses a versatile skillset that spans across various areas of expertise including beauty and prosthetic makeup.

Her positive energy radiates through her work, inspiring others and creating an uplifting atmosphere. Monik's visual art background has played a pivotal role in her growth as an artist, shaping her into the talented and versatile creative she is today.

Member of the North-American Union I.A.T.S.E. local 873 since 2016, with experience in film and television for over a decade. Currently also a enrolled in the sister local 891. Monik has worked on shows such as Star Trek Discovery (Multiple seasons), Shadowhunter, The Girlfriend Experience, Rocky Horror Picture Show (2016) as well as daily work on shows including American Gods, Handmaids Tale, Locke & Key, Hemlock grove, only to name a few.

In September 2021, Monik had the incredible opportunity to attend the prestigious Emmy Awards. As a valued member of the makeup team, she contributed to the outstanding work that earned a nomination for Outstanding Period And/or Character Makeup (non-prosthetic) for Star Trek Discovery season 3 - Episode 'Terra Firma; part 2'. This recognition at such a renowned event showcases Monik's exceptional talent and dedication to her craft.
