Hey, I'm Monik! ⏾✨

From a young age, art has always been a form of expression. It was my passion, my obsession! I studied Arts in college prior to venturing in the makeup world. When I say I know a little about colour and colour theory, I mean it! 

With a rich background in the film and television industry, I have honed my skills as a professional makeup artist. My training in art and dedication to detail ensures that I deliver stunning results tailored to your unique style and preferences. I understand the nuances of light, color, and texture, which allows me to create looks that not only enhance but also inspire confidence. A milestone to remember 

In September 2021, Monik had the incredible opportunity to attend the prestigious Emmy Awards.

As a valued member of the makeup team, she contributed to the outstanding work that earned a nomination for Outstanding Period And/or Character Makeup (non-prosthetic) for Star Trek Discovery season 3 - Episode 'Terra Firma; part 2'. This recognition at such a renowned event showcases Monik's exceptional talent and dedication to her craft.

Living on Vancouver Island, I know our community isn’t as diverse as larger cities like Toronto, but I want you to know that I’m deeply committed to representing and celebrating all skin tones and features.
