Peak Bridal Season
A little heads up before you book. Weekend weddings from May through September have a minimum booking of $950. Why? Because this is my busiest season, and as a destination location I also need to make sure each booking makes financial sense for my family and I.
Weekday weddings do not have this minimum.

Early Mornings ( EXTRA early)
Sometimes those super early mornings are unavoidable, I get it! For start times before 7:00am, there is an additional $150 early start fee per artist.
Just to clarify, “start time” means the scheduled time we begin makeup, not my commute or travel time.
Why the fee? Because early call times require a little extra behind-the-scenes support (and yes… a price tag on precious sleep), especially during peak season when working back-to-back services. ( It’s not unusual for me to work 7hours straight without stopping for a snack, break or water!)
And some timelines truly have us starting in the middle of the night. Eek!

Additional Artist
I usually work solo, but if you have a larger bridal party and a tight getting-ready timeline, we may need to bring in a second makeup artist so everyone is finished on time and the morning stays relaxed.
If you’d like me to secure an additional artist, I’ll need at least 4 months’ notice, especially during peak season on Vancouver Island when great, reliable artists book up fast.
There is a non-refundable artist reservation fee of $200 to hold them for your date and start time.
Why? This fee is non-refundable because once I book them in, they are turning down other work for that day.
And just to keep it real, there is always a chance no additional artists are available. If that happens, don’t panic. We’ll simply reassess the timeline together, adjust the number of services if needed, and make a plan that still feels smooth and doable.

Tattoo covers
Whether you love your ink or have a tiny “what was I thinking” moment about a past choice, I totally get that some people want tattoos to feel a little more subtle on their wedding day. If you’re hoping to cover a tattoo that feels visually distracting for photos or just for your own peace of mind, you’re in very good hands. With my tattoo-covering skills, you won’t have to stress. Seriously, no one will know.
Tattoo covers are priced based on size and placement, typically $90 to $200.
A quick, honest note. Tattoo cover is meant to camouflage the ink and design. If your tattoo is raised, you may still see a faint texture or slight shadow from the scar, even when the colour is fully neutralized.
And yes, you’re paying for skill and product. Mostly amazing skills, haha. This is honestly the area of my work I have the most confidence in. I use film-industry techniques with alcohol-activated paints and inks to create a natural-looking cover that’s waterproof, sweat-proof, and made to last. It also does not usually transfer onto dresses when properly set.
This isn’t your typical blemish/concealer cover. -

Allergies
Yes, please let me know about any allergies or skin sensitivities well before the wedding day.
If you are allergic or reactive to certain products or ingredients, it’s your responsibility to tell me in advance so I can plan accordingly and keep everything safe and comfortable.
If you’re booking for a bridal party, please ask your attendants ahead of time as well and include any sensitivities in your info. Wedding mornings move quickly, and I won’t have time to research specific ingredients or go through products item by item on the day.
If an attendant mentions a specific allergy for the first time during the appointment, we’ll keep things safe by using their own products instead. Just keep in mind the finish and longevity may vary depending on what they bring.
